Star Lovers
picking shadows from moonbeams
fingers gentle on silvery lights
formed of dusts from wishes
made like gossamer fairies wing
touches like falling snow
on heated upturned lips
melting to quench the thirsts
from within where the body blazes
melting of two together
entwined in silky scarves
struggle for coalescence
amalgamation of hearts and souls
words unsaid spoken in silence resounds
within the mortal husks meaningless
until they be made in burned stakes
sacrifices of the flesh promised to one
they spell freedom now
not tethered to any vows
yet inseparable through love
more than carnal lusts
they love uncaring of all
not knowing fear of betrayal.
