Dear Boomers
My name is Leo
Im only 16.
I know that im mortal,
But i know what you mean.
You say we dont think,
That we're too reckless for our own good.
But the truth is we think too much,
More than we should.
Its not the 'Me' generation
Of selfishness and lies,
Its the 'We' generation
and thats what you despise.
We are afraid
For our futures and dreams.
We're angry at rips
In leadership seams.
We know what will happen,
We know it wont end well,
So We fight for our freedom
But its still just a hell.
We know that everything
Might just end up broke,
So we take a chance
On our farfetched hopes.
You say that we're reckless.
That we just dont care.
But thats not the truth,
And its not fair.
