Concerned over corpses and stopped by soft bodies.
Cadaverous ribs hold cavernous hearts
Empty as the sky.
Wind blows by whistling through cracks,
Singing sorrow to dead ears.
Stars line canyons and cliffs.
Tickled pink time fades soft white,
Plenty as the stars.
His clouds hide the sky,
Holding the moon in safe hands.
Worried lines trickle down the pages.
Nonsense is as nonsense does,
Meaningless as clockwork.
Watching from a blank web
Teeth bite away terrors.
Empty faces peer out of the dark. ...

On Mirrors And Impurities
You want to try and love yourself but when mirrors are demons its hard to give the benefit of the doubt
To the claws and fangs you see threatening to devour every part of you that makes you whole.
But does that make you the bad guy or the good guy? They reflect what you are but what if you cant see what there is?
What if your tired eyes are blind to the realities the mirror shows, so when you look you see the demons and monsters that creep into what you know
They creep in to corrupt your bright vision, clouding with cataracts of selfhate and a fog of distortion. ...

Static
Garbled prose runs through my head
A bullet train crashing on the tracks
When the news caster starts counting fatalities
Static crackles
I'm feeling too much, too little
Doctors know I'm wearing red
When they tell me it'll be alright
Static crackles
Empty messes drop from my mouth
A carefully concealed tragedy
When they start to wonder what it is
Static crackles
I don't understand where my words go
A face like an empty page
When they start to ask whats wrong

And i say I'm ok

sometimes i admire you.
i admire the shadows and life you radiate.
beautiful and bright with constellations dancing across your skin
connected with silken strands like spiders webs,
delicate and beautiful with a feather light touch.
i admire the galaxies and nebulae hiding in your eyes and smile
bursting to the brim with exquisite patterns.
suns and stars and moons and solar systems
swirling about in chaotic harmony.

other times i think about you.
i think about the way your lips brushed softly against my skin

prestigious bones laced with lead and fear
shaking beneath cowardly tears
cries of justice call out of old
from behind a curtain of gold
you rattle and creak
worn away, youve become weak
once referred to as 'my liege'

Flies
flies love my hands
and they dance around my eyes.
the scent of death lingers over my flesh
tainting my nature and nurtures rot.
memories of rotting, matted fur haunt my skin
and i let my eyes close to welcome the night.
i taste most profound death,
small random bites, dropping like flies.
hidden spirits lightly touch the bones
of a forgotten and overlooked faceless grin.
plants grow between me, pulling me towards the earth
and i feel my body disappear.
and they dance around my eyes.
the scent of death lingers over my flesh

sometimes
you do something that later you regret.
wild nights of drinking and drugs float in and out of my memory,
lips and hands everywhere feeling my skin, smoothing my clothes.

you do something that you didnt expect
quiet nights with bacardi 151, a bong, and the comforting flicker of a lighter
suddenly your eyes are closed and the condom wrapper is being opened

you dont like what happened, though youre not entire sure what it was.
your body feels dirty, you want to erase the memory of his touch.

if i could
if i could, my love, id hold you close forever...but youre walking away..into the shadows of distance and im still here in the half-light of our lost love... i may walk the light to you, you may not want to bring me into your darkness, but i find the shadows comforting, i find it easier to sleep in the oppressive embrace of darkness. i find it easier to be myself... but i dont know how to get there... youre gone from me, much to my dismay, youve left me because its too much for you.. i might not be worth it entirely so i dont complain...but i do wish youd try to keep us.. but do as you wish,...

demon tears
when am i gonna break
im waiting on this pain
i dont know how long i have
till darkness holds me close
i feel alone though im not
like a ghost in silent halls
i cant bring myself to smile
i cant bring myself to laugh
i tried being quiet and soft
but nothing like that worked
its because of this hes not mine
i tried but he'll never be mine
staring out with empty eyes
cant you see my soul is breaking?
i cant let even a drop slip
'cause demons dont deserve to cry

Your smile's like a poem to me
Or a song playing a melody
Or art hung up like a masterpiece
or something beautiful like all of these.
Your heart is very precious to me,
i've seen its vast beauty, like the sea.
It shines so bright i can hardly see,
Sadly it doesn't belong to me.
Your care is so so precious to me.
All i want is your love, you see.
But if it's not something thats given to me,
well that's ok as long as you're free.
