Who Knows
Who knows?
There's a light that never glows.
It's simply an illusion for lively eyes,
the darkness only shows when connection dies.
How would we know?
When the light goes on,
but it really died?
Who knows?
Who knows that I'm dying inside.

How I wish to hold her
All my wishes to her,
all of my hope.
All my devotion to her,
and she doesn't even know.
I don't want to force her to love me,
and I know she never will.
My glass heart is cracking every beat for her but how will she know?
My best friend, when she finds out she will go...
Run away from me into the shadows.
Leaving me a stranger in the lost unknown.

What Can I Do
A lonely soul, wishing to conquer.
Hovering over her last words.
Wishes are made, then whispers are heard.
Her dark mind is ready to fly.
'I want to be free' she screams, her only plea.
But oh, how I do not want this to be me.
The healer of many, but what can I do for myself?
When all my rules were written by the one I hate most.
They're a liar, a cheat, a steal.
Thinking about this almost makes me lose my last meal.
I am the puppeteer to my own self destruction.
Death near due to how I heal opposed to others.
My silver puppet strings wish to...

Look into my eyes
A hollow green and blue cave,
an opening to the darkest of things,
blurred waterfalls rest near the entrance,
but they can never be seen.
The springs inside the cave,
contain water the color of crimson red,
with hidden places to escape the closure,
near silver mines.
This cave known for smiles,
is a caves full of sorrows,
and shelters people,
until they leave tomorrow.
The souls found here,
are only visitors,
that clutch onto the cave's wall,
so they're not dragged down into pits of fire.
People take what they can from this...

Not Okay
(Another poem from when I was younger.)
Hands shaking,
wrists stinging,
tears and blood mix together,
with their droplets falling in the sink.
Not ashamed,
but not proud,
of who I am,
or what I do.
No one cares,
I'm not okay,
I can't believe I lived today,
or any day.
No one talks to me,
few out of billions will miss me,
if I left,
I'd just fade.
Call me a hypocrite,
but I know you're not okay,
but I care along with the billions,
if you left I'd go with you.
Whoever you are reading this,
I'm sorry,...

That Poem
(I wrote this when I was younger and decided to share.)
Vision blurring,
due to tears.
Knife in hand,
full of fear.
Blood drips down,
such a great sound.
Face flushed,
pale with realization.
Strange feeling,
it's pain.
Emotional.
Physical.
Pain.
The knife touched my skin again,
there is a gain.
Getting back to myself.
Knowing what I didn't say,
when I should.
I don't speak my mind.
That means I don't win.
Emotions racing,
standing there facing,
what I have and have not done.
A small scream,...

Alice In Wonderland
I am like Alice,
unaware of what I am capable of.
Wishing things were just a dream,
after I fell down the dark rabbit hole.
Mad enough to dream of someone mad,
I don't believe I fit the prophecy.
I cannot help but want to please others,
even the wretch with the big head.
I am not a stupid girl,
I have been to wonderland.
I did paint the roses red,
I am ready to sleigh my enemy..
For I am like Alice,
maddest I can be.

For My Mother, Who Will Never See This...
My life from the start has been a lie,
your love for me was a promise.
Though when I look into your soul from your eyes,
all I see is hatred and despise.
Your voice makes me tremble,
the thought of you is bothersome.
All the time I can't agree with your mind,
I have to love you because I'm your kind.
Oh, how I wish to throw you,
but hold you as your cry.
Mother O' mother,
please let me die.
We would not get along in another life,
for we don't see eye to eye.

Cherry Blossom Tree
Cherry blossom tree,
why do you willow over me?
I cannot help your melancholy.
Cherry blossom tree,
stuck to the ground your never free.
You wish to grow wings like me.
Cherry blossom tree,
people only like you for you beauty.
Overcome this so you can see.
Cherry blossom tree,
blackened her leaves and grew wings.
Just to never believe.

wipe your eyes clean.
You should never trust me.

A Girl

She's just a girl,
with large round eyes,
perfectly pale skin,
and ruby lips.
She sits,
and thinks.
Of out of the world,
extraordinary things.
She could be a ruler,
if she wishes.
But instead she watches fishes,
swim and die.
Oh, how fast her life passes by.
Fail after fail,
try after try.
Her hunch grows larger,
no one sees her cry.
She can't wait to say goodbye.
If you can't tell,
she's mad of coarse.
Unable to scream,
her voice becomes hoarse.
