Till Death Do Us Part

Tonight was a love story gone bad,
The sex was no good, you were just lying still when every single musle in my body was dancing to the melody of your soft skin,
I was carefully searching for emotions on your face but it seems like you placed all in a box filled with broken promises and tossed it down the well of your deep thoughts.
Its clear all the feelings u had for me left a long time ago and travelled off to infinity,
yet you're somehow still my favourite song playing so low and I just can't find the volume button.
I know I'm slowly loosing you.

I see you've wasted no time putting your dress back on depriving me of admiring the work God puts into making Angels.
And you poured yourself a glass of wine and walked to the window,
Now you're standing there letting your soul out through your eyes to travel with the cool breeze and wander the dark city.
I lay here wondering what you thinking about, I can tell you're thinking about him
I don't know who he is but I've been seeing him a lot in the fake smiles you put on,
His name has been written all over your face when you return home late with your make up gone,
And his reflection is all over the diamond necklaces you've been wearing.
I bet you never gave that place in your heart to me, you were patiently waiting for the highest bidder.
And now you're just here pretending as if there's something still between us.

So here I lie drowning in deep thoughts just trying to figure you out
And deep down where all my insecurities are buried and forgotten a cold voice is whispering to me that I never deserved you
And my worst nightmare of seeing my Henrietta with another man is bound to come true
So I patiently wait for you to take just even a sip from the poisoned wine in the glass
And while you will be be suffering to catch your breath, I hope you will remember the day u vowed 'Till death do us part'.
