Last night
Last night was a repeat.....
I woke at 3 and laid lost in thought about the hideous dreams I had
Somewhere behind my door I could hear shuffling
Creaking floors and then a growl....
I don't know what's coming but I pretended it was just my imagination and took a couple shots and chased them with a Xanax
Quickly my headlights dimmed to a empty stair,
The door creaked but I couldn't move,
Thru the crack that appeared a dark shadow moved,
Around the room it walked and finally it sat upon my chest
I couldn't make out its face but I couldn't breath as his hands closed down on my throat,
I couldn't move, I was suspended between sleep and reality
The room fell cold and finally he rose up and slid across the wall to the other side of the bed...... He sat there for what felt like hours staring at my girlfriend... Still stuck in the same position..... I watched him grope and grind upon her til she stirred and then it faded as the sun began to burn thru the window pane...
I beg of you Ishtar dawn your armour and lay these wicked things to rest......
