I've never shirked
responsibility
I've always worked
as I know , life's not free
yes I can be a jerk
my own worst enemy
but rest assured
better the devil I know
in me  
the one that makes
mistakes , stupidly
who raises the stakes
to far places , out of reach
together we wasted , years
getting baked in
all the one way streets
where parking
held a fee
but I am what I am
and at least I understand
not all things go to plan
in all reality
as for delusional
it's a place , I don't come from
I know the truth
I don't prove , no more
ignorance is bliss
and saying this , I wish
I could ignore
I'm aware of life's fist
as it's knocked me , to the floor before
yeah each day's a bitch
friends seldom give a shit , I sometimes sink
with open jaw
but I know who I am
that's the main problem
caught in-hand , I know
I have many faults
and room to grow
