Statuesque
On the outside,
it's as if she were stone
nothing could penetrate her soul
but oh how the world would try,
her tears became a trophy
and all were fixed on her eyes
waiting for her to weep
to fall, to do something
yet nothing,
is all she ever gave them
On the inside,
statuesque, definitively
and undeniably
crumbling
it's as if she were stone
nothing could penetrate her soul
but oh how the world would try,
her tears became a trophy
and all were fixed on her eyes
waiting for her to weep
to fall, to do something
yet nothing,
is all she ever gave them
On the inside,
statuesque, definitively
and undeniably
crumbling

It's a heartful in a single mouthful.
That's what the heartbroken cannibal said.
