Equality

You'd like to think that only one gender must rule the world,
I say that theory stinks.
You say it's just the way of life,
I say that's yesterday's thinking, today is today.
So I can't win in a fair fight because you think it's 'un-lady like',
I say you're probably just scared.
Who the hell said only one can rule the world;
There is a king,
And there is a queen, but why can't we all be kings?.
See it's the thing with us today,
I don't wish for these kind of thoughts to stay.
So if a girl and another girl lock lips it's fine,
But god forbid if a boy and another boy do the same right?.
Let me just shed some light onto the subject, shall I?.
You mean to tell me it's only natural if a man and woman love each other,
But if a man and man or a woman and a woman love each other they are sick and twisted?.
Now in days of our generation we've became so addicted and consumed with the insecurity of ' looking' straight or better yet 'acting' straight we've forgotten the pain it's inflicted on them.
The drama of today is pulling us into something we all don't want.
So if the color of your skin is a shade darker than mine we cannot be friends?,
When do you think it's ever ok to try and dismay something that you're born as?.
Color doesn't define character, your character defines your color you dumb, ignoramus.
Go on ahead with your shameless, smug remarks see what happens then.
However, you'll obviously won't leave this blameless and
blame maybe the ones that gave you life or the ones you allowed to surround yourself with.
I don't know how I can dumb this down for you any further,
You are not better than everybody else, so before you try to judge learn to look beyond the color of mine or their skin or the fact they don't love someone like you do.
Prejudice, No!
Ignorance, No!
Bigotry, No!
Infidelity, No!
Sexism, No!
Racism, No!.
Although you may think the way that you do,
Just know one thing, we are only following individuality,
This is only equality.
