...As shallow, acrid winds blow
breaths into the crust of earth
caterpillar fantasies take flight
mysteries within a crystals' snow-
flake encased, a fluttering newbirth
shimmering it's gleen 'pon the night
how the muse cruised to bestow
a simple solitary moment's mirth
captured by the spark of ink's might...
