Mind Over Matter
If the logic of my mind won I would have chosen you
But it lost and now it has left us both feeling blue
It had two choices to make and you were the logical one
You fit to all my likings, it would have been a perfect match
But at first you didn't like me, that was the catch
The only flaw in this all but perfect equation
Now it seems this is the worst situation
You are beautiful and I got lost in your eyes
With you anything I said flied
Your body, I appreciated every part of it
No matter what anyone else said, because it was just bullshit
I cherished every moment we spent together
Hoping you would eventually like me for the better
Just as I stopped trying to win you over, I did
Unbeknownst to me off came your lid
You decided to let me in and I couldn't see before it was too late
I only wish this happened earlier, that you had only took my bait
Because when I pictured us together we were great
And now I wish I can turn back the hands of Fate....
But it lost and now it has left us both feeling blue
It had two choices to make and you were the logical one
You fit to all my likings, it would have been a perfect match
But at first you didn't like me, that was the catch
The only flaw in this all but perfect equation
Now it seems this is the worst situation
