Blood-Stained Manuscript
I turned around to face the mirror
Saw my reflection filled with horror
My misery is like a growing tumor
Then who’s going to be my savior?
My childhood was not a happy one
The walls that I built became sand
Feeling alone, I screamed and ran
And burned my skin under the sun
I stand barefoot on electric chair
Contemplating in my own despair
Amidst pain and gloominess I bear
You just watch, combing your hair
By nightfall, when I’m lying in bed
I dreamed of color of brightest red
This nightmare that’s inside my head
Muted my senses, knocked me dead
Woke by midnight in frantic breath
Once again, I had a taste of death
My cold body’s dripping in sweat
Leaving my soul nothing but hate
I prayed for rain and made a wish
To cleansed me and sailed in bliss
In the river where my sins vanish
And deliver me from Judas’ kiss
Lost in darkness, blinded by greed
Maybe it’s wrong to follow a creed
I don’t know where my path leads
Do I belong among the bad seeds?
Saw my reflection filled with horror
My misery is like a growing tumor
Then who’s going to be my savior?
My childhood was not a happy one
The walls that I built became sand
Feeling alone, I screamed and ran
And burned my skin under the sun
I stand barefoot on electric chair
Contemplating in my own despair
Amidst pain and gloominess I bear
You just watch, combing your hair
By nightfall, when I’m lying in bed
I dreamed of color of brightest red
This nightmare that’s inside my head
Muted my senses, knocked me dead
Woke by midnight in frantic breath
Once again, I had a taste of death
My cold body’s dripping in sweat
Leaving my soul nothing but hate
I prayed for rain and made a wish
To cleansed me and sailed in bliss
In the river where my sins vanish
And deliver me from Judas’ kiss
Lost in darkness, blinded by greed
Maybe it’s wrong to follow a creed
I don’t know where my path leads
Do I belong among the bad seeds?
