I think of you
I still think of you
Every now and then
I think if how things
used to be with us
How we would write
Letters late at night
We were strong
Or so I once thought
I miss you only sometimes
When I see something
That reminds me of you
So much has happened
That I know things will not work
But sometimes I forget and miss you
So I asked how you were doing
And if you're okay
I miss you voice late at night
No one can ever replace you
But you go ahead and replace me
I would if I could.
I am trying still four months later
To forget the way you smiled for me
He didn't break my heart but
He just reminded me of the man I lost
I miss you But I doubt you miss me too
I guess that's why I messaged you
Please forgive me for needing to know
How your life has gone since you left
Every now and then
I think if how things
used to be with us
How we would write
Letters late at night
We were strong
Or so I once thought
I miss you only sometimes
When I see something
That reminds me of you
So much has happened
That I know things will not work
But sometimes I forget and miss you
So I asked how you were doing
And if you're okay
I miss you voice late at night
No one can ever replace you
But you go ahead and replace me
I would if I could.
I am trying still four months later
To forget the way you smiled for me
He didn't break my heart but
He just reminded me of the man I lost
I miss you But I doubt you miss me too
I guess that's why I messaged you
Please forgive me for needing to know
How your life has gone since you left
