Comatose
Lying in the dark.
A monster I have become.
Driven by the pain,
And screaming your name.
Drenched in tears, they fall for you.
Craving your touch, I clutch my pillow and cry.
Shuttering in agony, there's nothing left.
I'm left alone in comatose and you're my only cure.
This never ending curse, fills me with remorse.
The days blur together as I hopelessly wait for you.
Just give me a sign because I've had enough.
It hurts, being so far away.
The distance makes the pain grow stronger.
Sooner or later, this body will...

Our world's been crumbling down,
But we've smiled through the frowns.

No Longer forgotten, this is our reign.
We've earned our strength through all of our pain.
Voices shallow, but heard around the world,
we'll cross the bridges that once were burned.

A Love Long Ago
I was Jack and you were Sally.
Our love is now, never coming back.
Riches of happiness, stripped in Death Valley.
My grave was dug, in the hole in my heart.
Your hand's been on the knife since the very start.
Waiting in the shadows, watching my world slowly fall apart.
Back and forth, we've said those words.
The words that sent us soaring like birds.
Just memories now, like broken records.
You were the one, my burning sun.
We had so much fun, while I still called you 'hun'.
Our time is done, and I'm on the run,

Unleashing The Underdog
Within the hours of night, I take my leave.
Consumed by shadows, prowling the streets.
No destination, just my thoughts and I.
The greater the distance between me and home,
The more my thoughts become clear.
Every reflection is a glimpse of a true desire.
Alone and pragmatic my life unfolds.
A harmonious relationship of past, present and future.
Manifesting itself as the guardian angel I've always been searching for.
Consumed by shadows, prowling the streets.

Blank Slate
I once was a child with a wild imagination.
A miscreant of a new generation.
Now I'm 19 years old and want nothing more
Than to go back to playing in the sand.
I don't want to live my life being held back anymore,
It's suffocating and cold.
I know it's too soon for me to be speaking ill,
And that life has more opportunities for me.
This is not me giving up, but starting anew.
To wake up every day with a blank slate.
I'm taking off the chains and paving my new path.
Day by day, one journey at a time.
A miscreant of a new generation.
Now I'm 19 years old and want nothing more
Than to go back to playing in the sand.
I don't want to live my life being held back anymore,

MISCELLANEOUS POEM

epiphany
Break it up, roll it up, and light it up.
Break me down into a million pieces.
Sweep them in a pile.
Gather them in a tray.
Pack my soul into an empty shell.
Lay it flat and spread it out.
Roll me over so I can laugh in my grave.
Tightly gripped by the blanket of shadows, I find comfort.
But as the walls burn down, I'm greeted by light and warmth.
Risen like smoke, born from ashes, a Phoenix is given it's flight.
Break me down into a million pieces.

A Faceless Reflection.
Loves Bitter Rejection.
Fallen For Temptation.
Now Praying For Redemption.

Love's Hangover
Every day, I wake up with a headache.
Flashes of the ever occurring dream rush back.
Nostalgic and menacing, I'm left to feel hungover.
I lie there in numbing agony. Wishing to fall back into slumber.
rolling over on to my back, I gaze up and see her again.
Floating above me, with eyes glimmering white.
Consumed in trepidation, I close my eyes and silently cry.
Why is this happening to me?
Haven't I been punished enough?
Yet, no matter what I do, it all still ends with you.

She's the one who's always on my mind.
She's the one who's haunting my dreams.
Her voice calls to me like a burning whisper.
Her silhouette just lingering at the end of my bed.
I lay there lethargic and listen to her hum.
I don't want it to be like every other night.
I watch as she advances from the shadows.
I see her face and I'm helpless not to cry.
Abashed, I reach out to hold her close.
She wraps her arms around my neck and pulls me closer.

Increasing speed. Adrenaline with greed. I've got all that I need.

Instincts honed, body scarred, mind so relentless.

The Rambling Rainforest Of Thoughts
My life has been one hell of a party.
It all just seems too much like a dream.
The changes I've gone through are what sparked a new light.
I'm sure this sounds like a bunch of rambling.
But I couldn't find any other way to settle my mind.
I'm different now, yes, but what I hold now is the strength I've always needed.
I'm still a stranger to myself in this new life and I plan on finding the rest of the pieces to my broken heart.
I don't know how to start over but I'll find a new beginning just like I found once found in you.
My burdens have...
