The Full Story

I was a young and innocent creature.

Then came Charlie.
He showed me my other side, the one I learned to love.
But then we got too attached and I lost myself in him.

Then I met Kevin.
He made me realize who I am when I'm in love. He broke the innocence and I'm glad for that.

Then somewhere along the way of getting over him, I met Jack.
He showed me that I could be one of those happy girls. But then once he got a taste, he left.

Charlie is in the Navy now and I'll always wait for him.

Kevin never loved me but I forgive him.

Jack turned into the boy that slept with my friend, but I still forgive him and her.

I'm finding it so hard to stay in this place. I keep telling myself it can only get better. I can't keep pretending everything is fine.
I'm losing myself in all of this and it's hard to keep my grip on life but I'm slipping.

Why do they leave? All I want is for someone to stay.
