Dead
There's a fine line
We walk it with every breath
The emptiness of loving you
The memories we dread
Another jaded Christmas
Shitty crackers and brandy soaked cake
No quantity of music can fill the empty space
we don those cheap Santa hats
and skip through the days with grace
Then we drift off to another world
those fine lines we trace
With whispers within a heartbeat
We silently pray
and hear not an answer
just another silent day
walking the fine line between
loving you and dread
You didn't grow your Angel...

nameless.......
The rain dances high
and the sky stoop's low
nothing inviting except
the warm amber glow
of a street light
The shadows dance
and alley cats linger
and rolling in the distance
is the threat of
... I wonder
In the air it hovers
and in my veins it flows
and in the dark
of the night it creeps
over and over
and I wonder
my sense's are alive
and my sanity wanders
but there in the corner
under the warm glow
of the amber
street light
I find comfort from ...

Social Media sucks sometimes!
Ahm no a racist..... but!
Ahm no Isalamophobic ..... but!
Ahm no sayn they're aw the same.....but!!
does it sound familiar?
can you hear that voice?
hearing about people being shot down, eliminated for no reason at all
it's scary shit... no doubt there!
as i'm sat scrolling through facebook, online news articles, twitter etc!
I'm seeing anger, bitterness, hatred and small mindedness at level's that frankly scares me.
Why?
What makes young men and women pick up a gun?
Could it be .... Anger, Bitterness,...

My Hero Just Enjoys Me
My hero disny save me
he wipes away ma tears
he stauns tae let me grow
and tells me truth's that sear
he stauns behind and cheers me
as i dance through life's long game
and he's there to make me coffee
the moment ah get hame
Ma hero disny save me
he knows i need to see
that's life's a lesson learnt
and it's lesson is tae me
aye ma hero disny save me!
but he fair makes a grand cup ah coffee

never wait to be saved,
prince charming isny real,
it's only a fairytale told to squelch...

My One (wherever you are)
Looking to the future
giving everything a go
searching for the suture's
to stem the heavy flow
leaning toward's a dream
bathing in the summers glow
the hearts silent scream
desperate for a world to know
a solitude so profound
that surely serves to show
the sound of a bluebird
dancing softly in the snow
the journey's in full swing
the story not near done
I shall enjoy each sweet fling
until the day I meet my one
for i deeply know.......
I know my soul mate exist's
I know he's longing for his one...

General Election, Nations Erection
a message sent to those who learned all they know of politics from a book, no matter how many papers they read, they never learned to read something far more important and relevant

Wordsmith
Our communication has suffered as we rely on words,
there is a simplicity in oral expression
however does it do the soul justice?
do words suffice?
or do they all too often fail to display
the genuine emotion of a wordsmiths underlay
I often wonder if you ever truly knew..
yes you were a wordsmith so to speak
did you ever truly understand the feelings layin within,
those expressions of a love and an appreciation
that can never truly be conveyed
simply by using words..
did you ever really know that a million words could never display........
there is a simplicity in oral expression

The Unsung Poet
no one queued to hear
his songs and his stories
some sniggered
and some sneered
he worked hard
at his words
and never told a lie
his poetic song
the critics decry
unbeknown to them
like a phoenix he would rise
you see the unsung poet
didny compromise
he wrote of his politics,
his life , his love
his joy
his working class roots
the critics still deny
he wrote of a violence

Weather bombs and what not....
The countries all worked up
it's on the news you see..
weather bombs are landing
in the towns and cities
Toxic fog is coming
it will take you in your sleep
over towns and cities
toxic fog shall creep
Shit no! there's an eclipse
don't dare look at the sun,
it will blind you!don't you know
don't you dare have fun
we have had the Thunder Snow
the eclipse that blinded a nation
the awful Toxic Fog,
all thanks to several TV station's
we haven't reached the summer
we are barely into spring
and the weather...
it's on the news you see..

Looking around
and all I see
is funny little
fluckers
surrounding me!
creeps with eyes
that bore holes
in the soul
and chancer's
who cry
when told fuck no!
miserable sods
with no
laughter to share
and nosey bastards
who love to stare
everyone's crying
about some sort
of rejection
a world in need of
a humour injection
so here goes
to the holy Joe's
to the nosey and needy
to the depressing
little cretins
I really don't need ye
ye can howl at the moon
cry woe if ye like
it...
and all I see
is funny little

with nothing good
some trade in sympathies

Love is not harsh, nor mean spirited...
it's not a battle to be won, nor a point to prove
it's simplistic by it's pure existence
those who fight the hardest battles love the most!

if your sitting next to someone who exhausts you with demands
then trust me baby, it's not the one and if she quotes shit like
"if you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best"
run for the nearest fucking exit
that bitch is going to suck the very life from you
if he tells you he only beats you because he loves you so much he can't...
