Slipping away like the sands to the tide
No strength at all in the state that I'm in
I'm going down like a stone in the sea
All this love, unable to be free
This pain in my chest, afraid to speak
No one can rescue me
Trapped inside myself
Whole, yet incomplete
Tears cascade down my cheeks
The need so deep
To hold on once
No way to release
Among the silence
Never to cease
A constant fight within thyself
This is my life
Please don't put my heart upon a shelf
Out in the open
For the whole world to see
This is Me!
