Who I am today

Who I am today it's asked a lot
But do you ever really know
Not if you've never felt sad
You need great trials to know who you are
Me I'm better then I once was
I've been depressed happy sad mad
All that has made me who I am today
I'm stronger for what I have gone through
Am I proud of who I am today
I'd like to think so but deep down
I know there will always be that tinge of doubt
