Music's Midsummer Night's Dream..........
...It's an evil wind
that blows no good,
It's a sad heart
that won't love
like I know it should
Oh, how lonesome you must be
It's a shame
if you don't share
your love with me....... (Aretha Franklin, "Share Your Love With Me")
...I slept with the window open last night
the air was thick
like that of a
midsummer nights dream
I tossed and turned
I couldn't get my body right
My masculinity
lay naked a top rustled, white linens
waiting,
feeling
something
coming in the night........
..and like a beautiful, elegant spirit, she did come
her fragrance enveloped my nostrils
holding me captive
her touch,
synaptic
wrapping me up inside her familiar
poetic rhapsody
stimulating, arousing
playfully erecting
my poetic love.......
..high into the dawn of an early morning sky
resurrecting my throb,
spurring a quickening
I close tightly my eyes
and grip the bed covers even tighter
hanging on for a
long-awaited ride
spiritually,
pleasures I have not felt for so long
your voice
blowing into the gentle wind,
an incantation
of loves familiar song.........
.....her tender lips
kiss this splendid arousal
yes....
she hath wrought
mountainous eruptions
exploding from deep within
lifting me above the strange doldrums
slowly,
my conscious thought
return unto me once again.....
.....her Rains have come back to me,
and I bless them
