Artists Make The Best/Worst Lovers
They don't just fall in love with you.
They invest their love in you. They will fall so deeply in love that it would devastate them to be a apart from you. You have all the power too. They are utterly devoted to you. They would die for you. They would kill for you. They just want to see you happy until the inevitable happens. Because they're blinded by the sadness love will bring. When you say those words a piece of them dies. It gets shot in the chest and they try to get you back even though its done. They won't cry because the tears are all gone from many many hearts ago. Its all bleak now, placid numbness like a drug. This is the punishment, the sins have catched up to them.
I'm fine.
But you only stayed to avoid guilt.
