Painful

I'm tired of this darkness
this thing that fills me
sending me into the corners
of my mind
Scattering my thoughts
making tears and screams
My only form of communication
I can stay in a haze
ever sleeping
even when awake
but even then
I am just hiding
I want it to end
but they don't care
They think I'm addicted
or want attention
But I don't
the attention hurts
no addiction helps
I just want to be pain free
but all I can do is hide
