I looked and there she was - gone
Like the darkness chased by dawn
A tight feeling in my throat
When I found her farewell note
"I just need to be set free
So please don't come after me"
What do I do? Where do I turn?
She just left and how I yearn
I can't believe we are through
I'm in the dumps and feeling blue
Oh my gawd did you hear me scream
I just woke up from a bad dream

I haven't had that particular dream ie about loved one leaving but have had some & woken & was so relieved to find it was a dream and not true....
