Such a poignant plea, my friend....
It seems as though we all practice a bit of self-preservation--especially if we have been deeply betrayed, at some point, in our past.
But....i still believe if souls were meant to bind, then somehow, love will find the way to allow two hearts, in trust, to beat as one.
