Happiness
As time breaks down, so do the people
Humans have become lost in just about everything they do
You see, maybe that's the problem
Maybe we're all losing side of what's important
At the end of the day it's not about: Fancy cars, big houses, our bank account, or even how much our job pays
It should be about: Family, happiness, love even
As cliché as it sounds, everyone deserves to be happy
If I can't wake up in the morning and say that I am truly happy,
Then that is not a life I want to live
Money can not buy you things that will last
It won't buy you memories
It won't buy you that feeling of butterflies you get as you're sitting next to the one person you admire most
It won't buy you those little smiles your child gives you just because you're spending time with them
It won't buy you the sound of "I love you"
It won't buy you those silly conversations you had with your mom or dad that turned into something meaningful
Bottom line: It won't buy you happiness
Nowadays things are being treasured instead of people
People are being used instead of things
This is not a happy world as it might have once been
So ask yourself:
"Am I putting what matters most in my life first?"
"Am I truly happy?"
"Am I treasuring things instead of loved ones?"
After all, we only have one life and only one chance
I don't know about you friends, but I'll choose to put what really matters first and make memories with my loved ones
Because no amount of money could ever buy me that kind of happiness and love
Humans have become lost in just about everything they do
