A Letter To Heaven or Hell
Slowly and painfully I let go of the childhood I once knew, of the father I still love.
I don't mean to be forgetful daddy but you've been gone a long time, up above.
You'd never be down below because you were the best Catholic around.
I hope I don't disappoint you because there's no religion that I've found.
I want you to be proud of me and all the choices I have made, even the bad ones.
When people say "me and my dad did blah blah blah" it feels so foreign to me. I've forgotten how to have a father, I've forgotten of
Of you.
