My Book of Life
splash of ink turned into mere words
my paper is bruised with pain and love
tears fall into the wrinkles leaving stains
another cigarette burns near the open window
smell our passion dancing around the room
your music intruding into my soul with rapture
your existence brings me turmoil and pleasure
wanting you to leave but begging you to stay
you are chapters in my book of life
my paper is bruised with pain and love
tears fall into the wrinkles leaving stains
another cigarette burns near the open window
smell our passion dancing around the room
your music intruding into my soul with rapture
your existence brings me turmoil and pleasure
wanting you to leave but begging you to stay
you are chapters in my book of life

Tommie, I love this passage:
"your existence brings me turmoil and pleasure
wanting you to leave but begging you to stay "
Beautiful my dear :)

You captured the ebb and flow of life between pleasure and pain very well. Some chapters are longer than others and it's understandable when someone makes a deep impact on you. Enjoyed.
