My angel...
 
...her form and fashion
appear in the threshold
of my open door
 
her beauty always appears greater than every other moment before...
 
...but today,  
tears stream from
her beautiful brown eyes....
 
…....life deals  
a crushing blow
and a most beautiful soul
is left before me.....crying
 
“I just don't want to ever leave you ....”
 
…..the silhouette of her body
shown through
the thin, sheer fabric
of her silken robe in
early morning light
 
she loosens the petite
strap surrounding her waist
and the garment floats
down to the floor
gathering at her feet.....just right
 
…...naked  
 
as a babe from birth
and any other moment,
this beautiful illusion
would shake my
carnal worth....
 
...in the gloaming of my precious love, joy of my desire
 
but the tears  
continue to stream down
she trembles, overwrought by fear
in her mind, hell
is breaking all around...
 
...and my heart
 
is breaking in two
“...in the arms of an angel”
fallen
and I just don't know what to do..........
 
I stand before the bed
she walks into my space
her hands brush against my chest
my hands wipe the tears  
from her face.....
 
“.....if I ever have to lose your love...”
 
I place my finger  
against the softness of her lips
and tenderly I kiss her  
upon the crown of her head
 
into the solitude  
of this bed we share
between the soft covers,
our bodies freely slip
 
into the sanctity of each others arms
 
God,  
please help me shelter her
from all harm...
 
...we melt into the safety of
each others hearts
crying together
vowing to each other
to never let anything
tear us apart.....
 
…..and in love, we grow
 
slowly ,
but surely
the tears begin to subside
together,
we ride out the storm
we weather the tides........we survive
