Word is born; lame ideas will surely bow down

In the presence of superior intellectual thought

Whoever says Boko Haram has got a legitimate cause

To shed the innocent blood should be stoned to death

Things I’ve seen with my eyes will make you hold your breath

An eye for an eye” we don’t want peace if there’s no justice

Bury hypocrisy lets preach what we ain’t ashamed to practice

I know i’ve got a lot of people hating on me for writing like this

You can kill a man but through his noble idea he will forever exist

We always blame the devil but if you look closely he dwells in our midst

To be honest he lives inside of us through our evil actions he manifests

How far can you endure the persecution when your faith is put to test

Will you shrivel in fear and deny your faith coz you’re scared to die

Will you stand by your words even with a sword ready to pluck your eye

Are you bold enough to proclaim your faith in the face of grave threats?

Who do you fear most, Man or God? Who has power to destroy your soul?

Where do you put your treasures, on earth or in the promise of paradise?

Are you ready for the tribulations ahead ushering the inevitable end of times

Are you living a life without purpose? What legacies are you living behind

Are you still a lost soul in this journey of life waiting for guiding road signs?

Are you conscious of the powers within you or you are in the dark still blind

Wake up from your “sheep” attitude the power for greatness resides in the mind

Re-establish your lost link with the universal creator, coz your essence is divine

Follow not the footsteps of any man coz many have been mislead in the past

The consequences of complacent ignorance can be dangerously vast

When life is still within your grips embrace knowledge if you can so fast

Knowledge reigns supreme the powers of dumb it down won’t forever last

It’s a privilege for me whenever I share this blessing of mine through writing

No better alternative to peace let all sane minds say no senseless fighting
