Catharsism
don't look at me like that
Please, I will beg,
Please don't look at me like that
I know what that look means
You creep and prowl
Weave your web before my feet
That look temps me
Again and again to step forward
Into you web of discontent
And voids of hate
I just want time to mull it over
but the decision is now or never
How can I turn back without you?
How can I go on with you?
I know what you want, you've taken it before
But I contemplate
And you wait
Knowing with your evil grin
Your bent eyes
That I will make the mistake again
Of convincing myself you love me
And as my pale bones step into your web
You drag me back to where we started
Please, I will beg,
Please don't look at me like that
I know what that look means
You creep and prowl
Weave your web before my feet
That look temps me
Again and again to step forward
Into you web of discontent
And voids of hate
I just want time to mull it over
but the decision is now or never
How can I turn back without you?
How can I go on with you?
I know what you want, you've taken it before
But I contemplate
And you wait
Knowing with your evil grin
Your bent eyes
That I will make the mistake again
Of convincing myself you love me
And as my pale bones step into your web
You drag me back to where we started
