Skeletons
Nothing in the concrete cracks
The way she moves
It counterracts
The way she feels
When she acts out an understanding smile
Coz deep down she feels like broken glass
Sifting through the skeletons
Of her past
Climbing the mountains
But not coming back
Realizing shes all on her own
But in pride she wont go looking back
She'll walk through doors, find straighter paths
She'll find diamonds when she looks for finer things
And although its hard to be alone
She'll search for one to call her own
On the right track, down the right road
She'll be smiling :)
Cos she knows shes home
The way she moves
It counterracts
The way she feels
When she acts out an understanding smile
Coz deep down she feels like broken glass
Sifting through the skeletons
Of her past
Climbing the mountains
But not coming back
Realizing shes all on her own
But in pride she wont go looking back
She'll walk through doors, find straighter paths
She'll find diamonds when she looks for finer things
And although its hard to be alone
She'll search for one to call her own
On the right track, down the right road
She'll be smiling :)
Cos she knows shes home
