Typical Sunday
Broken, overturned tables
Shattered bottles litter whiskey-covered floors
Broken, relentlessly-torn cables
Vodka spattered across secret-holding doors
Spit lining the creases on our faces
Piss dripping down the soiled freezer and cabinets
Sealed walls shadowing all traces
Shattered mirrors covered with muddy blankets
Parents sticking to strict routine
God forbid we omit a single second of symmetry
Pleading for my soul to remain unseen
Nock holes in my cleanliness and my dignity
Shattered bottles litter whiskey-covered floors
Broken, relentlessly-torn cables
Vodka spattered across secret-holding doors
Spit lining the creases on our faces
Piss dripping down the soiled freezer and cabinets
Sealed walls shadowing all traces
Shattered mirrors covered with muddy blankets
Parents sticking to strict routine
God forbid we omit a single second of symmetry
Pleading for my soul to remain unseen
Nock holes in my cleanliness and my dignity
