this unnamed boy
my knight of swords
guardian angel
just shy
of age nine
came in only a pair of shorts
malnourished looks, dirt on his nose
experience beyond my years
a natural will to live
i did not possess.
the house
was a mad house
an accumulation of
a sex slave's living nightmare
over muscular ghouls
lurking about
just waiting.
one poor man
his mouth gaping open
a large metal contraption
embracing his neck
green goo
and various other fluids
spewing out.
when this unnamed boy
appeared, great stealth in the night
bravery that cannot be sized
maturity
unmatched by his childish body,
he tried to lead me out
he tried to lead me out
through narrow vents
down spiral staircases
into a sickly olive green hallway
oh god
why'd he try to lead me out?
on a clean glass slate
slanted above me
his little arms
chopped off
in one swing
trying to defend me,
sacrificed
this unnamed boy
to save my life,
you poor child
i will call you
gabriel.
