Sharpened lies
Twisted words cut like sharpened lies,
Creating pain that haunts our eyes.
The jokes they told, I couldn't erase.
Warm crystal tears drip down my face
No friends, no life, just aimless cries,
Twisted words cut like sharpened lies.
I feel my heart, ripped to shreds,
Tiny splinters made by their threads.
They taunt and grin to get their way,
My strength quivered day by day.
Twisted words cut like sharpened lies,
They still can’t see this isn’t wise.
Music kept the pain at ease
No one can say, “Life’s a breeze.”
I did my best though the truth implies
Twisted words cut like sharpened lies.
