Who would have thought?
Your skin on mine
is my ideal way to
fall asleep
To slide in behind you
pull you tight
One arm around you
Your hand holding mine
My lips on your neck
The vibration i feel as you
mumble "good night"
The rise and fall
of your chest
Lulls me to sleep
inhaling the scent I have come
Crave like a drug
Before you I was content
to live my life alone,
Now I can't wait to wake,
The morning sun dancing across your skin,
Warming the places I have missed.
The warmth of your smile
The heat of your kiss
The lingering of your hand on my heart
All things I have become
unable to live without,
is my ideal way to
fall asleep
To slide in behind you
pull you tight
One arm around you
Your hand holding mine
My lips on your neck
The vibration i feel as you
mumble "good night"
The rise and fall
of your chest
Lulls me to sleep
inhaling the scent I have come
Crave like a drug
Before you I was content
to live my life alone,
Now I can't wait to wake,
The morning sun dancing across your skin,
Warming the places I have missed.
The warmth of your smile
The heat of your kiss
The lingering of your hand on my heart
All things I have become
unable to live without,
