"Baker Acted."
This body is a whore: I don't want
to tend to it anymore; it's proclivities
and learned tendencies
It craves and yearns, desires and
begs, to be fed
And all the while, coincidentally,
creates a war in my head: in my mind
Every urge that I give into is a newly
placed, mental landmine that I've
unwillingly but strategically set in
motion to catch me unawares, that at
some future time will crack and fracture
the sanity of my mentality
But I fucking swear, I don't give into these
things willingly, no, but quietly go I into that dark night
I want to destroy this facade: (the one that I've armed
myself with, or at the least, inadvertently created), to
combat reality and release into another place but I can't
or I'll be a fraud because that which would empower me
and cause me to overcome all things is not who I really
am-
Are we really that distanced from everything sane
to tend to it anymore; it's proclivities
