Obstruction

A sea shell I found in my solitude.
I perch upon a boulder in a solace mood.
The sun bathes the wake rocks revealing a picture so serene,
in a perfectly luminous shade of emerald green.
I look out far and my eyes wander back again,
what distraction begs my attention I lend?
I'm drawn to an object, unnatural
but somehow to humanity so regrettably infatuable.
Bobbing near the shore line
half full of empty,
and not a drop to which contained be a lick of empathy.
Pompous and pride
proudly on the tide it does ride.
Built by a mad man a megalomaniac creation,
to no animal kingdom does it hold a relation.
I rush to the site so I'll stricken
and I pluck from the luster the devilish vixen.
But then ten more appear in its wake!
I tear them out for heaven's sake!
Ten more for each one I'm in to my waist.
Humanity is in over its head, they know not where their usage is placed!
I stand up right to view the horizon
and what more sight takes my eyes in?
Millions of useless things violate the rippling water!
What shame and ignorance we show to our sons and daughters!
There is so little that only one can do,
but I cannot stand with society and no clue!
I wade into the water tossing rubbish to the shore,
until I sink in, it covers me and I see it no more.
