FIGHTING HARDER TO STAY FOR GIRLS THAN FOR BOYS

There is a common misconception that men love their sons, more than they do their daughters & that overall: they prefer boys over GIRLS;      
But the truth of the matter is: men that have children, that wanted the children, that knew early on about the children & are able to financially provide for and afford the children (love them regardless of their gender) more than anything else in the WORLD.        
         
While yet true that men could do more with a boy child (example: physical contact SPORTS); This in its self...is not reason alone to deny a girl child...or otherwise choose to ABORT...        
         
The love they have for a child that is already here or on its way...be it son or DAUGHTER;        
Yet it also doesn't mean that the love a father has in his heart for the child...increases or diminishes the love he has for the child's MOTHER.        
         
When children are brought into the world & the parents unfortunately decide to go their seperate ways (after whatever length of TIME); Toes are stepped on & heart strings are pulled as more and more real becomes the prospect of the children being left BEHIND.        
         
Then comes male pride & realistic male fears and assumptions: If I leave---I can still always call & check on my son...& on my free-time: take him out (every now and AGAIN);        
But if I leave and walk out on the mother of my daughter...I'm leaving my little princess vulnerable to the potential mercy of another man or MEN.        
     
This in fact, explains why although clearly miserable...you may see a couple stay TOGETHER;       
It is the well intented yet wrong decision...made on the part of the child's FATHER.       
         
At the end of the day: No man is perfect, they all have flaws...        
The man that you decided to have a child with may or may not be the greatest/sweetest or most patient of LOVERS;        
But when it comes to the love he has for his children...he just can't bring himself to take chances with his DAUGHTER.
