Rauchous noise
Shouted orders
Sea salt spray
Cannon fire
Dying screams
Clashing swords
Tilting deck
Howling winds
Thrashing rains
Bitter rum
Weevil biscuits
Blood salt sweat
The image fades
As we stand
Upon a deck
With grass around
Masts are trees
Sails are branches
Red deck
Awash with rain
Sun is setting
As girls scurry inside
For cookies and hot chocolate.

Such is my life, we actually planned a pirate themed sleep over, which we then had a few weeks later. Tons of fun!
