SILENT CALL
Prayers could not bring back
the lives of those unsung heroes:
who seek for the truth
so we may see the light
regardless of their plight,
who dared to walk
in the valley of tears
never to come back.
Unjustifiable killings,
no mercy at all.
Sometimes you question Faith
and wonder why
evils roam free,
innocents suffer persecution
while justice can’t see.
Prayers and faith
go hand in hand,
but not for those
in no man’s land.
Equality for all
regardless of color,
beliefs and religion—
so we may live harmoniously
under one roof of legion.
I call upon the leaders
of all nations:
presidents, kings and tyrants
Please heed my silent call
stop the business of ghost wars
no more greed, hunger and pain
equality and peace for all!

Everyone will have to be wiped out to start anew, for the damage man has caused and implanted in the minds of many to be gone.
Thought provoking read, well written and expressed Engr.

Hi mate,
Another insightful work from you dear poetic brother. My favourite lines were:
"Prayers and faith
go hand in hand,
but not for those
in no man’s land."
Others, too, struck a chord with me. excellent piece.

This so moving! Although it is very easy to attach this to the Native Americans, one can also connect this to inhumanity world-wide.
A wonderful call to human kind's inner angel.

It takes a unique individual to look at history's wrongs and not get jaded. May that light in you always shine bright.

Well written my friend. But I'm afraid your silent call may fall upon deaf ears.

Thanks for dropping by napnau and for leaving your comment. Lucky are those who can hear even if they are deaf, who can see despite their blindness...
