Collateral Damage
In this painted landscape of you,
We are all just falling stars,
Crashing and burning into your atmosphere,
How many times will we let ourselves be shot down before we realize,
Realize there's a life outside those eyes,
Oh, ever so inviting,
I'm a lost cause,
A fucking lost cause,
She's already closed the doors,
Double checked the locks on my heart,
When I close my eyes I can feel her lips,
Forgetting her is out of the question,
She is my drug and I need my fix,
My one and only,
My last obsession.

the fix feeds the mind but kills the heart inside but on the bright side its only a matter of time before the high dies and you can move on.
