After all this time
It's time:
It's time to go home
I am ready to let my shadow's go
It's time to heal and be made anew
I want to feel the sunlight and walk in the moonlight
May the demon inside move on and let let go of my life
My my wing's reach high
It's time for the light to shine bright
It's been far too long since I've been gone
It feels good to smile again and live life

Shape shift
A ghost of who I used to be
The presence of a shadow envelopes me
Constantly changing form
I have lost my identity
Everyone perceives me differently
I wish I could disappear completely

I'll be beside you in time
Saltine tear soaked swollen face
Purple blackened eye
Cracked bloodied lips
Split finger tips
Bruised hips
Sore ribs
My body aches
I fought so hard
Just so I could lay beside you
With your arm around me
My ear pressed to your chest
Listening to the heartbeat
Clinging to the sent of your tee shirt
It take's the pain away
As I fade out of consciousness

Run.
if I ran away
would you meet me half way
at the crossroads and
take the unknown path
if we ran away
find us a place to call home
something all of our own
with a yard and a couple of trees
run off and get married
honeymoon on LSD
make love till the sun rise
promise to always hold each other like its the last time.

bliss

side by side
sipping cheap intoxication
inhaling expensive chemical sticks
his eyes are as hazed as mine
hand in hand mind in mind
inhaling each kiss
thoughts getting softer
hearts beating louder
peeling each layer off
finger caressing lust
skin melting bliss
I slide down him
silky tongue tasting each inch
sucking it all in
only to a hair pulling stop
dragging me up
pinned between the wall
and teeth at my throat
lust going deep inside
we fit so perfectly
as it slowly ends in
pleasure consuming...
side by side

Its kindsa funny
but I almost want my mind back
It just slipped threw reality cracks
and to top it off
lost my junkie in a back pack
the hobo on my back stole my slacks
and good luck Jacks trying to cabbage patch
for that matter where is my hat
*with/for a friend in mind*

only for a moment
He looks so tired
eyes seem dull and pale
looking a bit ruff
needs patched up
if only I had some thread
he's down on his luck
probably needs a buck
he might not have much
but I love the way
his smile lights up
the rest just fades away
his hugs mean the world
embracing and warm
for a moment I feel whole
in his loving hold
