Candle for You
One candle lit
To light it’s chamber
Love has never looked better.
Draped in darkness
But not overtaken,
Fighting to call this place home,
Fighting to stay alive,
But fighting alone.
An exhausted candle,
Having given it’s all,
Melts away…
And dies.
As I have loved you.
