out there in the rain..
one with the darkness of night..
as she lies there in the shadows..
you can't help but feel her pain..
for it runs deep and true..
like the rain that falls about her..
i look at her..
over and over again..
yet all that i can see..
is the swift movement of rain..
as it soils the ground about her..
i call out to her..
over and over again..
yet she gives no reply..
to my cries..
forsaken with questions..
burdened by images..
her thought so warm..
yet her body so cold..
