Known Disaster

In disarray I stand awestruck over your power
to totally turn my life inside out
Wreaking more havoc than a hurricane
destroying more of my structure than a tornado
and leaving me without a safe harbor
Why do I let myself love you anyway?
Why do I not just walk away in total disgust?
Is it that I am addicted to your posion
or that I am in love with disaster
Or just the way you are in bed..
]

Far Away I Stay
Far away I stay so far away
withdrawn and deadly can you hear me?
screaming from the inside place that darkens
every dawn I try to glorify
every thought under capture
that I am driven to set free

Love's Description
It is in the smallest of gestures offered
in the darkest of times
that when given in kindness
makes the pain ease
It is with the purpose of love
intended and offered freely
rising up with grace
to claim it's prize
The ability to see beyond the abyss
and locate the blazing sun light
that streams as a miracle
into our hearts.

So Deathly Still
Sitting in the dark my blood runs cold
Now I realize how far from sane I truly am
Another sad story of a love gone wrong
Another day of a too bad so sad love song
But let the stars fall frown
Yeah just let the sun start to boil
When your sweet resistance
Turned into another night of rejection
I remember pacing and more hungry pacing
The drops of my sweat rained down in rivers red
Fascinated I stand in a blood stained reverie
This day of my river red, my river red
The day and hour my sanity took leave
The blade is stained and dirty why?...
Now I realize how far from sane I truly am
Another sad story of a love gone wrong
Another day of a too bad so sad love song

Actualization or Rightesousness?
The road taken lies in the memory entitled regret
Regret begets dissatisfaction and insecurity
Ownership of bad choices causes determination
Then one can make the remark that self realization is grand
That learned from mistakes makes it all OK.
Or does it?
Depends doesn't it?
Spending our time wisely is the best choice
Becoming self confident is a goal of spiritual maturity
Accountability is key if you want success
Actualizing is secondary
Righteousness an old fashioned word
Antique in it's concept
If it was the foremost goal ...

Negative Viewpoint... the folly of life
The road that winds through our lives
Is a long and winding road
Some days it is fair and friendly
Some days it is full of land mines
We travel on this road blind and deaf
Unable to see the map
The master plan for men
Impermanence is annoying
IT feels futile to take on grand endeavors
When the winds of time erodes all things
The grand illusions we dream
Are but cosmic comedy to angels and demons
In a million years what will be left?
Why should I strive when all if folly?
On the stage of the Cosmic Comedy
I doubt we will get a credit...

Into the fire
Standing like a pillar on fire I reach for you
Hoping you will see this honest truth
That what we are is more than mere lovers
That we began this reality as one not two
Twin flames seeking reunion
Afraid of the depth of desire
Knowing that if we succumb to our hearts
We will be changed forever and always
Branded with the taste of the flame

The Dragon Queen
In the distance
The blue lightning danced
Winds from hell began to rage
The eerie calm was done
Now the realms of destiny stood open
The minions of before time are near
Flames they carry in purifying heat
While the blue fire flashes
While the raging winds shriek
She flies from Orion and Halcyon
With the stars in tow behind her
Her raging fury sweeps the heavens
It is SHE the Dragon Queen
She will make men weep and pray
She will avenge the end of the true Kings
...

Sick and Twisted Love Song
In the sense of a sick and twisted love song
I put this pen to page
Hoping to convey the disastrous state of loving you
Like a nuclear war that let the missiles fly
Like an earthquake that went higher than 9.5
Like the volcano on Mt Vesuvius erupting right on through us
That is what your sick and twisted love did to me babe
