 The warmth of your arms felt just right
That's all I remember when I think of that night
"Don't let go" Were the words that I wanted to say
Instead we said goodbye and you walked away.
 I wish I would have known the events that were ahead
I would have made sure you'd be asleep in your bed
But life happens for reasons that we never understand
Its the simple way of life - its always unplanned.
 But regardless the outcome I stand by your side
As this thing we call "life" takes you on a ride
I will always be here - for my love is strong
Despite the bullshit the always goes wrong.
