Needs and Urges
The image of blood being poured from a wound
Is more beautiful than to some it may seem
For it is like a flower coming into blossom,
And what once was lost love, starts to burst at the seams.
The urges themselves are like a desire for water,
You crave and you choke, until you feed your need.
And like a flower needs it’s sunshine as well as various storms,
My body needs its outlet, and the urge is to bleed
Is more beautiful than to some it may seem
For it is like a flower coming into blossom,
And what once was lost love, starts to burst at the seams.
The urges themselves are like a desire for water,
You crave and you choke, until you feed your need.
And like a flower needs it’s sunshine as well as various storms,
My body needs its outlet, and the urge is to bleed
