ivory tower

longing for that place be..
leaning back against this tree..
reminiscing of you and me..
thoughts adrift.. out to sea..
set about yet never free..

longing for her distant shores..
that ivory tower.. where i once moored..
my sanctuary.. of no more..

cast  away by thee..
left to sail this lonely sea..
my grieving heart.. unable to see..
the hidden dangers upon the scree..

sirens calling.. out to warn..
turned about i found her storm..
ripped apart.. i touched its horn..
my supple heart.. forever torn..

tear born.. salty waters..
despair.. now my plotter..
depression causing me to totter..
should have chosen another daughter..
