Welded together by fires brimming of shared suffering  

Digging footing in torrent borrowed soil  

A fierce push from a single hand!

                dressed in satin, royal purple glove 

See us all fall, sinew dominoes 

Lambs of sacrifice whose heads are forcibly held below water 

We work not together as the links of a chain,


          merely sharing the same refrain like drops of fallen rain 


Never to puddle, streaming away in singular course 


Left to drown mercilessly in our ocean with discontent
