UNRESOLVED HURTS (Wordsworthian Sonnet)

In the dark my need for you accuses me ruthlessly.
With full intent is peels back my skin to speak
My consent to submit to your charm and mystique
As you entice me into the void presumably
Wanting my vow to love you without scrutiny.
Again you take me further into the dark abyss
Lonely, I hunger for your drugging kiss.
You think this dark prison prevents my mutiny?
I will not live within your subtle lies
Nor allow your caress to thwart my resolve!
I won’t subscribe to your philosophies
Or succumb to your demand and absolve
You only to return to the anomalies
Of an affair marred by hurts we can’t dissolve.
