ETERNAL EXTERNAL X

Welcome to the end, my friend, I hope you found
something inside while you were alive.
You know you can't pretend that you'll survive,
not since you have died inside.
Pop your pretty pill and hope it makes you feel
until the feeling dies.
X out both your eyes and all outside,
ride the human tide.
Now empty your soul and slither back in your hole
you knew it never was forever and there never was a goal
As the curtain rises, uncertain sad surprises
and the play begins-
-Falling apart at the seams and it seems
nothing is real and I feel like I'm in a dream
If memory dies I'm free, reality lies, I see
that nothing is true nor will ever be, not for me.
Then when the play is done and through
and all you ever knew was never true
I'll show you something
Fumble through your pretty death and find
a child's frightened breath confessing nothing.
Nothing. You're alone and tossed across a lost
and never-known perverted zone.
Thrown off of your throne, now on your own you know
you own nothing.
The tainted taste upon your tongue has wrung its words
one time too many.
Bringing in unchanging pain upon your bruised and
never-used life.
The saintly sayings of sadists praised have raised
the latest craze upon your knife,
digging deep within your sagging hopes and dreams
which always seem too many
-I'm falling in love with memories and she sees
nothing in me that she want's to see. Let it be,
let her by, be, let her fly free, let her see,
let her die, but never let her say goodbye.
Now suck the soul from my overbearing chest
so the beast released can wear a never-caring crest
craving flesh of decaying dying beauty diseased
now lying naked and dead beneath benevolent breeze.
-now she's alive. Etched upon my eyes
she's alive. lost in lullabies
she's alive. Torn from her disguise.
"Now I'm alive" the last words seeping from her silken sighs
